About Us

We are a medium-sized 100% New Zealand owned company, with a real passion for being known as the best in the business for quality and service, while still offering our customers real value for money. 

We have a great team of highly experienced/qualified technicians who all understand the importance of great customer service and quality of finished product. It is due to this that we have built and continue to build a solid base of clients who use us as their 'go to' company for their fire protection needs. 

We can promise you, as a potential client of ours, that once you've sampled our services, whether for a small routine maintenance check or to install a large scale integrated system, that we'll leave you wanting more!

Operations Manager - Russell Hogg 

Russell has nearly 20 years Fire and Security Industry Experience. His skills were honed in his home City of Portsmouth in England where he completed a multidiscipline Fire & Security Apprenticeship, then went on to spend many more years working on a wide range of projects as a qualified engineer. 

He holds Qualifications in: 

  • Electrical/Electronic Engineering  
  • Fire Alarm/Detection, Installation, Maintenance, Design & Commissioning  
  • Plumbing  
  • Construction Site Safety Management. 

Russell has been working in the NZ construction industry at a wide range of different levels now for 7 years. In this time, he has become an Independently Qualified Person (IQP) and been awarded his Producer Statement Authority.

To maintain our impeccably high level of workmanship, Russell is heavily involved in the management/supervision of all of our works being carried out on all of our projects, to ensure that all our work is completed to highest standard possible. He has a real passion for training our staff and teaching them the importance of doing everything right, first time, every time.


Project Manager/Estimator - Chris Ralph

Chris has over 16 years Fire Protection Industry Experience. For the first part of his career, he honed his skills whilst completing an Electrical/Electronic Engineering degree in his home town of Burnley, UK. These higher level qualifications were completed alongside his Apprenticeship, working at one of the UK's leading Fire Alarm Companies, Protec Fire Detection. His progression in skills and knowledge lead to him taking up an Estimating role, in which he looked after key clients such as Manchester Airport, Primark and ASDA.

Since arriving in New Zealand 7 years ago, he has grown his knowledge base further during his employment in system surveying and estimation roles, these positions with estabilished NZ fire protection companies have seen him become an expert in the NZ fire protection industry.

He holds qualifications in:

  • Electrical/Electronic Engineering
  • Fire Alarm/Detection, Installation, Maintenance, Design & Commissioning
  • Quantity Surveying
  • Project Management
